A B O U T
Brù is a Philosopher, Metaphysicist, independent and non-denominational Officiant, and Pastoral Counselor who provides un-biased religious and spiritual services throughout the southern region of California within the United States.
Brù's favorite quote and motto comes from the famous Greek Philosopher, Socrates: "True knowledge exists in knowing you know nothing". Asking questions not only helps Brù better understand the situation/issue at hand but helps others do the same. "Sometimes we can't 'see the forest beyond the trees' without a bit of assistance to view things from a different perspective. Sometimes we even come to love the forest, and make use of it for what it is. There are some who tease me about being a constant explorer, yes but what can I say? I love it. I love knowing that there's more to... well, every thing than what we currently know or perceive. There are so many views. I think the important thing to remember is the difference between right or wrong and fact or belief. "
Brù isn't a renown public figure, doesn't own and operate a profitable religious institution, nor does she seek others to join with her in a nature ceremony in the woods or on a crusade. She is an honest friend, an artist, student, ingenious and humble minimalist, a Matriarch, and so much more. Living life with a captivating sense of energetic calm about her, she believes that as the world and technology expand, practical judgement and compassion need be top priority for all. "As an agnostic secular humanist, I believe in a rational philosophy of life: informed by science, inspired by the art of life, and motivated by a desire to do good for its own respect, not by an expectation of a reward or fear of punishment in an after-life by some divine intervention. "
When asked, Brù stated that her philosophy and beliefs do not deter people of other faiths, cultures or beliefs, including those of opposing or conflicting views, from having a positive and long-standing rapport with her, "[because] it's understood one may have something wonderful to offer the other. I welcome such open-minded individuals who accept people as they are, without the premeditated desire of conversion or persecution." Speaking often in parables and sprinkling useful bits of history, scientific facts, theories, and philosophies from a wide range of sources, she creates quite a knowledgeable and memorable session of pastoral counseling. Counsels are conducted live over the internet via Skype, where Brù sets aside time to virtually assist those who may not have the means to meet with her in person.
